“Around the World” Dinner
June 23, 2009

Aceitunas alinadas, Brocheta de Championes, Huevos rellenos

Tomato, green pepper, onion, celery, cucumber, and lemon with oregano and spices.

Frango con Piri Piri
Chicken sautéed with onion, red and green pepper, carrot, celery, and tomato tossed with a spicy pepper sauce served with

Lomo de Porco con Almeijoas
Pork marinated in a red bell pepper paste simmered with little neck clams in a savory stock with cilantro, garlic, and white wine. Served with bread.

Bolinhas de Santola
Crab meat combined with celery, onion, fresh mint, cilantro and spices formed into cakes with starch pan seared and served with red pepper aioli and ensalaldilla Rusa.

Cozido de Graõ con a Barcelos (vegetarian)
Garbanzo beans sautéed with onion, carrot, celery, garlic, and lemon, parsley other spices. Served with rice.

Bife de ceboladqa
Jordandal beef tenderloin marinated in garlic, pepper, and sweet vinegar pan seared in a bay and garlic infused oil finished with a wine reduction sauce and topped with caramelized onions. Served with ensaladilla rusa.
