tuesday dinner around the world 5/5/09

Welcome to Bon Appétit Café’s
“Around the World” Dinner
May 5, 2009

Amendoas fritos
Fried almonds served with a fresh apple.

Tomato, green pepper, onion, bread, and lemon with oregano and spices.

Uma salada
Mixed greens and red onion

Choose from the following entrees:
(Dinner price includes the first four courses. Dessert not included)

Frango con cogumelos e tomates
Roasted chicken with wild mushrooms and and rich tomato reduction sauce Served with rice.

Piri Piri
Shrimp sautéed with onion, red and green pepper, carrot, celery, and tomato tossed with a spicy pepper sauce. Served with rice.

Bolinhas de Santola
Crab meat combined with celery, onion, fresh mint, cilantro and spices formed into cakes with starch (rice and bread crumbs) pan seared and served with red pepper aioli and sliced tomato and feta.

Cozido de Graõ con a Barcelos (vegetarian)
Garbanzo beans sautéed with onion, carrot, celery, garlic, and lemon, parsley other spices. Served with rice.
